Although the above statement refers only to freelancers I think having a quality business card is very important for any business.
A small piece of card will represent you and your entire business. So you need to have it right.
Tiny Prints is a website that can provide you with beautiful and professional looking business cards amongst other services.
The most important feature about the site is that all cards are very easily customizable. This means you can add your own photo, logo and text on the card. So Tiny Prints is like your own printing press where you can create your own cards!
For e.g I selected the following card to customize. (See the image below.)
The name printed above is “JESSICA ROBERTS”, her profession is printed as “FOOD STYLIST” and her address and contact details are provided below.
Now I wish to change it.
Let’s say the name I wish to print is “Shakespeare” and below it I wish to print the profession as “PLAYWRITE” and provide a new address below.
Click on the “Personalize” tab in the bottom-right corner. (See the above image.)
A new page will open which will look like the below image.
Fill in the blanks with the details you want to be printed.
Click on the continue tab shown with the yellow colour above.
A new page will open which will look like the image below. This is the front page of your customized card will open.
Click “Next” tab in the bottom right corner if you are satisfied with the cover design. If not, move the pointer on a text to change/modify it. You can also change the font.
After clicking “Next” a new page opens which looks like the below image.
This is the back-side of your card. You can add any image you like here by clicking the “Add Photos” tab. Or else click on any of the icons of the websites as shown in the image above to import images from your Facebook, Flickr, Picassa etc. albums.
Also you need to change control in the left side bar to suit the appropriate format.
See the image above. I have added the photo of Shakespeare.
And this is all. You have created a business card for yourself. Click “Preview” to take a look at the final version.
